Blog 3 and Reflection 3 (Practical)
In this tutorial one of my friends chose a warm up game called Stuck in The Mud and we referred to her as Miss Ketteringham. Due to safety reasons, as well as student numbers, Miss Ketteringham decided to lay out some specific boundary rules, as well as split the class into two opposing groups either side of the gymnasium. Our tutor decided to allow her, and other students, including myself, to conduct ourselves as real teachers to give us an opportunity to experience how it is to operate a classroom. Other games we played were Space Ball, Newcam Ball, and Sitting Valley, where we were given opportunity to discuss effectiveness of time and inclusivity of all students involved when teaching. The aim of the latter aforementioned games was to develop essential skills in being capable of playing Volley Ball, which was considered a difficult game to play effectively and enjoy without developed skills.
