If a student feels they are bullied or harassed on-going in the playground, it is perfectly okay to seek advice or help from an authority. The teacher should be approachable and understanding of issues and intervene the bullying before it progresses any further. Teaching anti-bullying in class will help prevent school yard bullying. Students should not feel victimised as this will affect their self esteem, psychosocial development, emotional welbeing, academic performance, mental health, motivation and physical performance in school and beyond.

It is vital that bulling be identified and addressed to an authority figure as soon as possible, so your child may continue to take part in their right to a happy and safe learning environment.
